Suvees Kulaveerasingham
Suvees specializes in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), working within the greater Toronto area on multidisciplinary teams providing holistic treatment. His interest and focus have been around Organizational Behaviour Management (OBM) wanting to bridge the gaps in service.
Div Kaur
Div is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) with experience working with both children and adults in the developmental service sector. Div has primarily worked with adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities with complex behavioural needs and dual diagnosis.
Together, both Suvees and Div have experience providing behavioural consultation to populations with various diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Acquired and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (ABI/TBI), and more. Both also have experience supporting and treating challenging behaviours such as physical aggression, environmental destruction, self-injurious behaviour, and inappropriate sexual behaviour to name a few.
Together, both have over 19 years of combined experience in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis, making for a team that is well experienced with the barriers to providing a level of quality and consistency in service delivery to the individuals we support, especially in the non-profit sector. Some of these barriers include staff retainment and staff competency. Having difficulty retaining internal staff means the ongoing need for agency staff for the foreseeable future. Having had first-hand experience working frontline to working as clinicians in the field gives CSS a better understanding of the barriers and how to target them effectively.
